Senior Research Officer - Training for Respect Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) is on the lookout for a passionate Senior Research Officer to join our impactful Training for Respect project on a 12-week part-time contract. This role is your opportunity to make a difference in preventing gender-based violence and sexual harassment within the Victorian adult education and training sector. About the Project Training for Respect aims to build a sustainable and empowering infrastructure within Victorian Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to prevent workplace gendered violence, including sexual harassment. This 18-month initiative, supported by WorkSafe’s WorkWell Respect Fund, focuses on enhancing sector-wide capacity, capability, and confidence, promoting positive and respectful workplace cultures. About the ROLE As the Senior Research Officer – Training for Respect, you’ll lead quantitative data analysis for a crucial survey capturing the incidence and drivers of workplace gendered violence among both staff and students. This is a 12-week, part-time contract (22.8 hours per week) at Social and Community Services Employee Level 6.1, offering you the opportunity to drive impactful change in collaboration with leading organisations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Evidence and Policy Lead, you’ll be responsible for analysing survey data using robust statistical tools, generating actionable insights, and co-authoring a comprehensive report on the project’s findings. You’ll also support a literature review related to workplace gendered violence in RTOs, helping shape recommendations that can transform policies, procedures, and training programs across diverse educational settings. Additional Information: This is a 12-week fixed-term, project-based role with flexible working arrangements. Contract dates: approximately 24 March 2025 to 13 June 2025.
