Senior Workforce Safety and Wellbeing Advisor We are seeking a passionate Senior Workforce Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis, providing strategic leadership and expert advice on the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Workforce Safety and Wellbeing framework across CQ Health.Contribute to the effective development and management of work health, safety, wellbeing, and rehabilitation services within the Workforce Safety and Wellbeing team, while supporting senior managers and staff with informed strategies. This role involves implementing, reviewing, and reporting on policies and procedures related to health, safety, wellbeing, and rehabilitation in accordance with Health Service guidelines, as well as coordinating CQ Health's safety management system and rehabilitation services.Sound like you? About the role: Contribute to the effective development, management and delivery of professional work health, safety, wellbeing and rehabilitation and return to work services provided by Workforce Safety and Wellbeing and effectively and efficiently inform and support the relevant Senior Managers and staff responses and strategies. The position implements, reviews and reports on work health, safety, wellbeing and rehabilitation and return to work policies, guidelines, procedures and networks consistent with Health Service policy. The role is responsible for the review, implementation and coordination of the safety management system and rehabilitation and return to work services for CQ Health. About you: While not mandatory, qualifications in work health and safety or injury management will be well regarded. High level of knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and associated acts, regulations, policies and standards. Demonstrated skill in conducting audits, investigating accidents and dangerous events to identify risks and causative factors, and make recommendations to control risks in compliance with the legislation.
