Base pay range $83,114.00/yr - $89,226.00/yr PSCA, Level 3, $83,114 - $89,226 p.a. plus 11.5% Superannuation Job Description Based at the Department’s headquarters in Kensington, the Workforce Services team provides a customer-focused, professional personnel and payroll service to the employees of DBCA and our client agencies. We are currently seeking a Senior Workforce Services Officer to join our team. As a senior team leader, you will: Undertake more complex personnel and payroll processing activities including terminations, new positions, and new appointments and provide training, support and mentoring to personnel and payroll processing team members. Provide advice and interpret awards. Liaise externally with the Australian Taxation Office, Government Employee Superannuation Board and other parties on issues relating to personnel and payroll. Adhere to legislative, compliance and reporting requirements and ensure consistency in processes and procedures. In this role, you will be Leading Others to help drive positive change. Selection Criteria Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total. Considerable experience in undertaking personnel and payroll activities within a large multifaceted agency. Demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on the payroll aspects of awards, superannuation, taxation and salary packaging. Demonstrated experience to supervise and work cohesively with others in a team environment, and to demonstrate an understanding of diversity principles and practices (some training experience is desirable, but not essential). Demonstrated organisational and analytical skills, including the ability to work to strict deadlines.
