We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Shared Services team. Your Role: As a Service Support Officer – Accounts Payable , you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Your attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong time management will support our mission to deliver exceptional services to the community. You'll work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process invoices, receipts, and payments. Support month-end reconciliations and payment runs. Resolve accounts queries and ensure audit readiness. Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and ensure timely payments. Respond to and resolve accounts queries, escalating when necessary. Maintain accurate financial records and participate in audit activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to financial reporting. What We’re Looking For: Certificate III in Accounting or equivalent experience. 2+ years in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Strong time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Possess a current National Police Certificate – or the ability to acquire.
