Job Opportunity: Service Technician & Purchasing Manager ClearView Window and Door Company Employment Type: 30-40 hours per weekStart Date: January 15, 2025Salary: $26-$30/hour (based on experience)At ClearView Window and Door Company , we pride ourselves on delivering 5-star service to our customers. We’re looking for a Service Technician & Purchasing Manager to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for exceptional quality and customer care. If you’re highly organized, experienced in the door and window industry, have hands-on experience as a service technician, and are passionate about providing service "done right", we want to hear from you!What You’ll Do Services Act as the first point of contact for incoming service calls; assess situations, request photos, and document next steps. Schedule and track service issues to completion and maintain accurate records. Complete onsite for door and window repairs; must have tools. Order and manage service parts and in-house inventory. Monitor and report on order-to-delivery and ETA-to-delivery metrics. Procurement Review contracts for accuracy and flag issues or holds for the team. Maintain and update accurate records in Microsoft systems. Master procurement systems and software. Track and flag job nuances like custom caulk and trim to ensure timely orders. Double-check orders before submission. Communicate with customers via call or text to provide ETAs. Update CRM with delivery information. Confirm weekly deliveries with suppliers. Review manifests and communicate when materials are ready for installation. Receive deliveries and verify materials for accuracy. Update spreadsheets with delivery dates and progress. Management Some travel for tradeshows. Track pre-audit and final audit metrics to ensure operational excellence. Support business partner network with onboarding and onsite visits. Document special projects with before/after photos. Distribute brochures or marketing materials in key neighborhoods surrounding active jobs. What You’ll Bring 5+ years of experience in the door and window industry. 3-5 years of on-site service technician skills for repairs of doors and windows. 2+ years of inside sales experience. Strong understanding of sales, contracts, purchasing, and service work. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Clean driving record. Why Join ClearView?
