Job Description
Warehouse operations, preferable FMCG experience Transport operations, temperature controlled Leadership / supervision of driver group, weekend work (Friday 7 hours, Saturday 12 hours, Sunday 12 hours and Monday 7 hours) Key Responsibilities Lead weekend coordination of warehouse and transport shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative procedures for staff and operations. Oversee the accurate picking, checking, loading and delivery of customer orders. Manage budgeting targets, ensuring costs for wages, freight, and other expenses stay within guidelines. Mentor and guide staff in their career development, focusing on performance and growth. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to driver/run requirements. Communicate regularly with Supervisors, Branch Managers, and Sales teams to align on goals and feedback. Lead incident and accident reporting & investigations. Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of the Food Service Distributions industry The ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders both written and verbal at all levels Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills Sound knowledge of WMS and routing systems Prior proven experience in people management A solid knowledge of HACCP and OH & S regulations Flexible and reliable Be a problem solver externally and internally What PFD is Offering the Successful Candidate We are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
