About the Role: The State Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the state-based field team to deliver all in-store activities aligned to the National MyPS Field Action Standards that is specific to each Key Account, financial management, operational engagement and the delivery of all Field KPIs and Targets.The role will be responsible for the building and development of a high-performance sales team through ongoing focus to coaching and mentoring each team member according to their Individual Development Plan. The State Operations Manager will also work collaboratively with key customer contacts to drive incremental sales opportunities and key business initiatives that are aligned to the overall business strategy and growth plans across all channels. Main Responsibilities: Team Management Coordinates and supervises Area Sales Managers defining priorities and operational plans according to programs and initiatives scheduled. Work alongside the Area Sales Managers in order to support them in dealing with any operational issues concerning clients or the sales team. Field Coordination Ensures the allocated field structure resources are in place to maximise channel objectives in line with company objectives. Liaise with Customer Management Teams/Retail Capability Team in order to gather information on activities, opportunities & deals with key customers. Communicate all head office agreed activities (including POG’s & NPD) to the state field teams in order to ensure the implementation and compliance at store level. Sales and Business Development Develop plan to achieve all display and Execution Quality targets as outlined in the Activity Execution Guide. Monitor sales trends in the State and sales structure performance. Monitor field performance through Perfect Store Audits and distribution analysis on monthly basis. Ensure the proper management of the allocated merchandiser budget – ensuring resources are allocated to deliver activity expectations within that assigned budget. People Management Oversee all recruitment as required Ensure Performance of all Field Managers is in accordance with Ferrero Standards and core values and fulfils the requirements of their role Implement approved Performance Management Plans as required Support the development and ongoing review of Individual Development Plans for all team members.
