Strategy and Corporate Finance Manager - High Growth ASX The Organisation With a Melbourne head office, our client is a high profiled ASX listed organisation going through an exciting period of growth and change. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially astute professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and financial success of the group. The Role Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this is an influential, high-impact role responsible for leading strategic financial initiatives, driving M&A activities, and delivering critical insights to support executive decision-making. Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Lead the development and execution of corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including market expansion, diversification, and efficiency improvements. Conduct competitive analysis, industry benchmarking, and financial scenario modelling to support long-term planning. Prepare board-level presentations and reports on strategic initiatives and financial performance. Identify, assess, and execute M&A opportunities. Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring for acquisitions and strategic investments. Develop and refine financial models to support investment decisions, ROI assessment, and risk analysis. Coordinate with external advisors (investment banks, legal, tax) to facilitate transactions. Partner with senior leadership and business units to develop and assess business cases for new projects, joint ventures, and capital investments. Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiencies. Develop performance tracking frameworks to monitor key strategic initiatives and identify course corrections. Support capital allocation decisions and funding strategies. Provide financial modelling and forecasting to support capital structure decisions and shareholder returns. Work cross-functionally with business units and departments to drive strategic initiatives. Present key financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes. The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, analytical expertise, and deal-making capability. You will have a proven track record in either investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar role in a high-performing fast paced corporate environment. The following will be looked upon as being important in order to succeed in the role: Strong experience in M&A, financial modelling, valuations, and investment analysis. Exposure to ASX-listed corporate environments, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to develop and execute corporate strategies that deliver measurable financial outcomes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills. Advanced proficiency in financial modelling (Excel), PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools. CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA qualification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
