Inspire secondary students with engaging VCE Vocational Major teaching. Empower young learners to achieve study and employment success. THE OPPORTUNITY Salary : $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience). Time Fraction : 2 x 0.8 EFT, Part Time. Location : Chadstone, Moorabbin and Waverley campuses – onsite parking. WWCC : Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. Police Check : Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check. Position Status : Ongoing employment of contract with a 6-month qualifying period. About the Role We are seeking two dedicated and qualified teachers to join our team at Holmesglen's Vocational College. In this role, you will : Teach VPC / VCE VM subjects to young and senior secondary students. Develop differentiated learning materials to meet the needs of diverse students. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program delivery and student outcomes. Prepare students for future study and employment opportunities. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Graduate teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply! ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have : Four-year degree or postgraduate qualification in teaching leading to current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Knowledge and/or experience of trauma-informed practice and pedagogies. Proven ability to engage and teach young and senior secondary students. A commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. Strong skills in developing tailored learning materials for youth programs.
