Far North Day Hospital (FNDH) is located in the CBD of Cairns – gateway to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef and the historic Daintree Rainforests of Tropical Far North Queensland. FNDH is a busy ‘day-only’ surgical facility owned and operated by Integrated Medical Services (IMS), whose vision is to provide seamless, high-quality care to our patients while supporting our team of professionals. FNDH currently performs approximately 6,000 surgical procedures each year across seven surgical specialties, but this capacity will be significantly increased over the coming years. Our current Director of Nursing has announced their plan to retire early in June. We are looking for an exceptional candidate for this senior position, which reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading and managing the ‘day-to-day’ clinical functions of the hospital.
