The Position The Job: We are seeking a Training Advisor for our Exploration division. This is a fulltime role aimed at supporting our exploration drilling personnel operating in a variety of mining and exploration locations. This role is field based and will service multiple areas of the exploration division and clients based on needs. The successful candidate will be paid a competitive remuneration based on skills, experience and roster. Rosters considered include 14/7, 12/9, 9/5. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Train/Coach/Develop and assess employee competencies (VOC Training tools and Inductions) Assist and assess drill crew in formal drilling qualifications Work with the other Training Advisors to create consistent delivery and assessment of training Assist in developing and maintaining effective procedures Assisting in ensuring Wallis Drilling meets requirements in alignment with client’s expectations Liaise with clients where required A passion for continuous improvement supported by critical analysis and review skills. Assist with site related health and safety events where required The Candidate: To be considered for this position, it is essential you have the following: Experience in Mine Site/Exploration Drilling HR Drivers License Have a moderate level or high computer literacy Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (working towards or prepared to complete) Residency in Western Australia Be physically fit, healthy and able to pass a PEM including ongoing Medicals and DAS It is beneficial for you to have (or willing to obtain): Certificate II or III in Drilling Operations Certificate IV in OHS/WHS Experience driving MAN HR Trucks Exposure to working in remote areas How to apply: If you have the right qualifications, experience and attitude to work for Wallis Drilling, please submit a Cover Letter and current Resume/CV via the “Apply Now’ button.
