Web Administrator and Application Support Officer Location: Brimbank Community & Civic Centre Department: Chief Information Office Compensation: Band 7A 36 Hour Week AUD $103,991.11 - $115,696.78 Employment type: Permanent Full Time Exciting opportunity to join one of Melbourne's largest municipalities. We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine. The role Reporting to the Application Team Leader, we are seeking a Web Administrator and Application Support Officer who can bring their skills and experience to: Provide ongoing support for internal and external users of Council approved systems and web applications, responding to, and troubleshooting queries and issues in a timely manner. Contribute to planning and decision-making within the team to ensure the unit continues to provide effective and cost-efficient service, and the team remains committed to the achievement of corporate objectives. Support the maintenance and enhancement of Brimbank’s websites and Intranet, including website architecture, content, and design elements to improve overall functionality, usability, accessibility, and user experience. To be considered you will have: A tertiary qualification in Information Technology/Management, Communication, or equivalent. Project Management experience and qualification, e.g. Prince 2. Experience in website and content management systems administration and development. Experience in analysing and resolving complex website and/or architecture issues. Local government experience is desirable.
