Job Description About the Opportunity: With over two billion dollars' worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth, we seek to bring a seasoned Pre Contracts Manager with a strong background in Civil construction into our business. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for evaluating and developing new strategic opportunities across the Western Region Infrastructure market. This will include planning and coordinating business and project development activities and developing and managing the pre-contracts team to produce winning proposals. Key accountabilities for the position: Develop, monitor and pursue opportunity pipelines. Develop pre-contract commercial strategies. Identify and communicate market trends and insights, gained through tracking of won/lost projects including competitors and customers. Governance Oversight: Ensure all pre-contract activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations and governance standards. Optimise pre-contract resources to ensure full utilisation and efficiency in the bidding process alongside the estimating team. Required Skills and Competencies Relevant Tertiary qualifications. Preferable 10 years' experience working in a similar role within a construction/engineering environment. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively with others. Presented problem solving / analytical skills. To be successful in this role you will be professionally qualified in Engineering and/or a Business/ Commerce related discipline and have demonstrated success operating in a similar role.
