About the Role As the Workplace Relations Manager (internally known as HR Business Partner ), you will provide expert advice and support to key stakeholders to enhance people management and drive positive workplace outcomes. This role will lead enterprise agreement (EA) negotiations in Victoria , oversee implementation and administration of the EA, and manage day-to-day employee relations matters. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic and operational industrial relations strategies , fostering strong relationships with unions and key stakeholders while leading EA negotiations. Advise division managers on workforce and recruitment planning , ensuring alignment with current and future workforce needs and legislative requirements for permanent, contract, and other labour. Provide expert guidance on HR and employee relations matters , including conflict resolution, grievance management, performance and disciplinary processes, recruitment, remuneration, learning and development, policy interpretation, and terminations. Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements , providing advice on government regulations and internal reporting obligations. Prepare reports for executive management, the board of directors, employees, and government agencies. Collaborate on the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems , ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. About You The ideal candidate is an experienced HR practitioner with strengths in workplace relations and a strong ability to navigate complex industrial relations challenges. Key Experience & Skills: Extensive experience in workplace relations , with in-depth knowledge of industrial relations legislation and frameworks . Proven expertise in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues within a unionised, operational environment , including leading enterprise agreement negotiations . Strong experience in resolving workplace disputes with employees and unions, including advocacy at the Fair Work Commission . Ability to manage competing priorities , respond to urgent matters swiftly, and deliver results under pressure. A structured approach to case management, tracking, and reporting .
