To support this momentum, they’ve created a brand-new role: Workshop Manager/Supervisor – Construction Equipment. Leading a team of 4-5 technicians, you’ll drive efficiency, team morale, and service excellence, ensuring smooth workshop operations and continued business success. Position Objectives Provide workshop leadership and develop the new construction-equipment service operations with an initial team of 4-5 technicians, with a view to expand. Develop the service business into a point of strength with smooth and effective workflow and operations. Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and administration. Maintain strong communication with other departments and management regarding operational updates. Play an active role in the overall business unit by fostering strong relationships with customers and team members. Position Requirements A relevant trade qualification (Diesel/Heavy/Plant Mechanic) with accompanying knowledge and hands-on experience. Experience in building, supervising, or managing workshop or mechanical teams. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. A willingness and ability to learn new processes and follow company procedures and protocols. Ability to manage workshop safety, meetings, and staff performance requirements. A strong desire to succeed and the ability to build and manage a high-performing workshop operation. SAP experience highly regarded. Australian Citizen or PR is a MUST.
