The opportunityWe're looking for an exceptional organiser and people person to join the Septennial Group head office team as Assistant to the Managing Director.Working closely with our Managing Director and our COO, you'll assist us in keeping the many moving parts of our MD's day & Septennial organised, connected and running smoothly.Septennial is a growing group of businesses focussed on our clients' goals and futures spanning financial advice, accounting, lending, property and legal services. This role is within our head office Septennial team. You won't be getting caught up in the day today operations of individual departments, you'll be helping us keep an eye across the bigger picture and supporting the people responsible for keeping it all moving.There will be calendars to coordinate, clients to look after, offices to keep running, meetings to organise and plenty of things that simply need a capable person to help make them happen. If being the person behind the scenes who helps keep everything organised sounds genuinely satisfying to you, you might be exactly who we're looking for.What you'll be doingYour role will be varied and will evolve as the Group continues to grow. Initially, you'll work closely with our Managing Director and COO to assist with and coordinate tasks such as - Coordinating the Managing Director's diary, appointments and meetings Assisting with client and external communications on the Managing Director's behalf Coordinating and confirming client meetings and appointments Helping keep track of follow-ups, commitments and arrangements Assisting the Managing Director and COO with Group level administration and operational coordination Helping coordinate the practical requirements of our offices across multiple locations nationally Assisting with stationery, office supplies and general ordering Helping coordinate building access, keys and staff access requirements Liaising with building management, maintenance providers and suppliers as required Assisting with planning & catering for meetings, events and team activities Assisting with internal events, functions and Group initiatives Coordinating travel, accommodation and itineraries when required Helping with the inevitable "Can you please make this happen?" requests that come with a busy and growing business Who we're looking forExperience is important, but how you operate matters just as much to us.
