Critical to this is the roll-out of universal 3-year-old preschool from 2026, giving every child access to 2 years of teacher-led, play-based early learning before school.About The Role Are you a dynamic and organized professional looking to make a lasting impact on early childhood reform in South Australia? The Office for Early Childhood Development is seeking a Project Officer - Change Strategy to join their Change Strategy Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping and implementing change management initiatives that will support the successful embedment of early childhood reforms across the state.As a Project Officer - Change Strategy, you will be instrumental in the development, coordination, and implementation of key project and change management processes that support early childhood reforms across South Australia. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the Change Strategy team by ensuring the creation and management of project documentation, change artefacts, and stakeholder engagement tools. You will work with teams across the OECD to develop high-quality written communications for key external stakeholders and support the monitoring of change management impacts and reporting.Key Responsibilities Include Coordinating project resources such as project plans, tracking tools, and risk registers. Supporting the development of change artefacts, including change strategies and monitoring reports. Assisting with stakeholder engagement by developing plans and materials to support Local Teams. Conducting data analysis and presenting insights to inform strategic decisions. Drafting high-quality written communications such as reports, newsletters, and presentations for external stakeholders. Contributing to continuous improvements in project tools and practices, ensuring efficient and effective project management. About You If you have experience in project coordination, change management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career while making a real difference.To thrive in this role, you will bring the following key skills and experience:Project Planning and Coordination: You bring solid experience in planning, coordinating, and supporting projects, with a strong ability to manage and administer project tools and systems. Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and the ability to support the development of change plans and reports. Data Analysis & Reporting: You are skilled at interpreting and presenting data and including data within reports. Communication Skills: You excel at contributing to the development of high-quality written materials, including data-driven reports, change management documents, and project plans. Autonomy & Organization: You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite and have the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new systems or programs. Desirable Knowledge of the early years sector and an understanding of the key players and stakeholders involved. A relevant degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field would be advantageous.
