Your new role As the Change Delivery Lead , you will lead the end-to-end delivery of change management across various ‘We’re Making Moves’ projects, as part of a change management team within a complex program. Your role involves developing and executing change management strategies and interventions to ensure the organisation is ready, willing and able to embrace changes in the workplace environment. In this position, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the changes implemented by the program are sustainable and align with business goals. Key responsibilities will include: Development and execution of change and communication plans aligned with the project strategy and the broader transformation/change approach. Design and implementation of integrated people experience plans covering leadership alignment, communication, learning & development and engagement of impacted teams. Integration of change management activities into project timelines, ensuring they’re aligned with key program messages. Identification and management of change risks, issues and the effects of business transformations, developing mitigation plans where necessary. Assess business readiness for change and monitor progress through defined success metrics, adjusting activities as needed based on results. Manage resistance and ensure a successful transition to new ways of working. Design and deliver change interventions, communications and artifacts based on the change and communication plan. Ensure the sustainability of changes and their long-term integration into the business. Drive stakeholder mapping and analysis to ensure business engagement and time-appropriate updates. Share insights and findings from change assessments with project teams to inform planning and drive success across the program. Support training initiatives, including designing, developing, and delivering end-user training. Contribute to the cumulative understanding of the impacts of change across the organisation, providing input into the transformation change calendars. Champion and reinforce Ausgrid’s change leadership models through consistent execution of change management plans. Actively participate in the transformation change community to ensure consistency and help build change management capability. Assist in developing the enterprise’s change maturity, focusing on enhancing change capability within transformation project teams. Stay up to date with relevant legislation, organisational procedures and professional codes of conduct to ensure best practices are maintained. Spark our interest! To succeed, you will be a dynamic change management professional with extensive, end-to-end delivery experience passionate about making a real impact. You’ll be skilled in building strong, empathetic relationships with stakeholders at all levels, influencing and guiding teams towards successful business outcomes with a shared vision. You will have a proven track record of designing and executing change plans that drive the adoption of new behaviours, and minimise productivity losses. You’ll play a key role in ensuring employees navigate change with dignity, empathy and a clear understanding of the benefits, ensuring they feel supported throughout the transition. You will be adaptable, with the ability to tailor change management principles, methodologies and tools to fit the project’s unique needs, ensuring effective delivery and success. Your communication skills will be exceptional, both written and verbal, enabling you to build strong rapport and connect with diverse groups across the organisation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate challenges with initiative and confidence. You will work autonomously , but also be a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. Exceptional stakeholder management is critical as you will need to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring buy-in and alignment throughout the process. As a natural thought leader, you should be able to influence senior leaders and guide strategic decisions that will impact the broader transformation. Experience in industrial relations consultation programs is highly desired, as it will give you an added edge in understanding and navigating complex organisational dynamics, and exposure to the blue-collar workforce.
