Your opportunity: Our rapidly growing Digital & Information Group is expanding, and we are seeking multiple Strategic Analysts at varying levels of expertise with experience in the fields of Digital Strategy and Planning to join our newly established Digital Utility team. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation that is driving digital transformation and enhancing service delivery for our customers, community, and people. Role responsibilities: Develop and implement a digital and data strategy that aligns with Urban Utilities’ strategic objectives, ensuring effective delivery of technology and services across various infrastructures and platforms. Translate strategy into adaptive pathways and investment pipelines that drive digital transformation. Establish and oversee a strategic framework for delivering a portfolio of programs, projects, and ongoing services, including product renewals, asset management, new service offerings, and maintenance programs. Lead the development of digital policies and standards to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with best practices. About you: Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Data Analytics is required. Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, ITIL, Microsoft Foundations, or similar are highly advantageous. Experience: Proven experience in IT analysis, data analysis, reporting, and problem resolution is essential. Experience working within agile environments and a familiarity with agile methodologies would be advantageous. Digital Strategy Development: Ability to create and execute digital strategies that align with business goals. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Customer-Centric Approach: A strategic, customer-focused mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement. Integrity & Authenticity: Demonstrates integrity, authenticity, and a respect for diverse perspectives in all aspects of work. Agility & Adaptability: Comfort with change and a proactive attitude toward embracing new challenges. Decision-Making: Strong planning, prioritisation, and decision-making abilities to achieve safe, effective outcomes. Security Requirements: Security clearance/SOCI requirements may apply, depending on the role and responsibilities. Performance of ‘on call’ duties: This requires that the employee must be available to be on-call and to attend to work matters, both in person and remotely, outside of normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as reasonably required to fulfill the requirements of the position.
