Position: Director Procurement and Contract Management Level: Executive Level 2 Salary Range: $146,800 to $180,630 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation Location: Head Office (Canberra) About us Defence Housing Australia (DHA) was established in 1988 to meet the operational needs of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the requirements of the Department of Defence by providing adequate and suitable housing. About your team The Chief Financial Officer’s Group is responsible for the delivery of fiscal management services across the organisation. The DHA Procurement Team is responsible for supporting DHA in achieving its objectives through sound procurement advice and application of a tailored DHA Procurement Framework delivered via a hybrid procurement model. As the Director Procurement and Contract Management, you will lead and mentor a team of emerging and experienced procurement and contract management professionals, drive a continuous improvement mindset to elevate capability, and play a visible leadership role representing the Finance and Corporate Support Branch internally and externally. About the role As the Director Procurement and Contract Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals in establishing and managing all major procurement activities on behalf of the organisation, including the provision of strategic procurement and contract advice. You will be responsible for the ongoing embedding of the DHA Procurement Framework and the development and implementation of a revised DHA contract management framework which you will support through change, communication and education activities to ensure its adoption and success.
