Job Description

Field Service Engineer / Level 1 Support Engineer Adhoc - Part time Location: Kippa-Ring, QLD 4021 & CLONTARF QLD 4019 The Role To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of customers by supporting their day to day operational problems related to PC Software and common applications. Key Responsibilities L1 support and troubleshooting for PCs, Printers, mobile phones and other IT devices. L1 support and troubleshooting for Microsoft software and other common software applications. Perform system recovery / restoration upon system corruption or replacement of hard disk. Carry out installation of new computer and computer products procured from the company inclusive of OS and in house applications. Perform refresh program for Personal Computers and Printers. Keep the Desktop / Printer inventory list evergreen and perform hardware asset inventory. Ensure all Workplace documentation and processes are followed at all times. Assist in site preparation work if required. Promote good relations with customers while on-site. Assist other teams as and when required, such as changing of backup tapes, install patching, virus control and removal. Work with 3rd party vendors for hardware repair, coordination, delivery, and installation. Cooperate with team members to ensure professionalism and efficiency. Ensure successful teamwork in our organization and fulfill DXC's philosophy through your actions. Assist the Network team on local network management and network devices management. Manage IT Room. Skills/Experience 2+ years' experience with L1 Support PC hardware and software repair experience Network experience Willing to travel and complete service calls as required Valid Driver's license & transport #J-18808-Ljbffr
