What you will be doing As our IT Service Desk Coordinator reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you'll be the vital link between our technology services and our diverse stakeholder community within the Information and Digital Services Branch. In this pivotal role, you will: create exceptional service experiences by managing incident logging, prioritisation, and communication, ensuring stakeholders feel supported and informed throughout their IT service journey build strong relationships across the organisation while coordinating first-level incident analysis and resolution with technical teams drive continuous improvement by analysing Service Desk data, identifying trends, and developing strategic solutions that enhance user experience lead the development of user-friendly Service Delivery documentation and analytical reports that inform strategic decision-making manage the procurement process with attention to detail and stakeholder needs, including vendor relationship management champion ITIL best practices while adapting them to meet our unique organisational needs. What you will bring to the role A natural talent for building rapport and delivering outstanding customer service experiences across all organisational levels Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with proactive, service-oriented mindset Meticulous attention to detail in managing IT assets, software, and hardware inventory Proven expertise in Windows environments, complemented by knowledge of Cloud ecosystems including Microsoft Azure and Intune Excellence in creating and maintaining clear, accessible IT documentation that serves diverse user needs A collaborative approach that strengthens team dynamics and promotes knowledge sharing Dedication to the VEC's core values and commitment to public service excellence How to apply All applicants must submit: a current CV and a separate document with responses to Key Selection Criteria (KSC) 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 as listed in the position description.
