The Role Our Brisbane Corporate Advisory team are seeking a capable and motivated lawyer with specialist Financial Services Regulatory experience. Working in this role, you will manage a broad spectrum of high-calibre matters, including drafting and reviewing fund constitutions and trust deeds, disclosure documents, authorised representative agreements, investment management agreements, compliance plans, financial services guides and AML/CTF programs. Additionally, you will provide strategic advice to wholesale and retail funds, payment providers and other financial service providers, advise on AML/CTF compliance and advise on the acquisition and disposal of funds management and financial services businesses. Your client portfolio will be impressive, encompassing a variety of fund managers, financial planners, stockbrokers, payment providers and foreign financial services providers. Experience As the successful candidate, you will be a driven and enthusiastic lawyer with at least two years post-admission experience. You will have a strong background in financial services as well as AML/CTF and general corporate advisory. Additionally, you will possess strong technical expertise and a solid grasp of your area of specialisation, paired with a genuine, client-centred approach. You will also value a supportive and collaborative team environment, thriving on building meaningful relationships with colleagues, sharing insights, and contributing to the team’s overall success. Your collaborative nature will be instrumental in delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients. Moreover, you will have a keen interest in building a successful career in financial services law.
