We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Lead CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to be developing and implementing comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, direct post and other channels using platforms like Klaviyo, Emarsys and Braze. You will be responsible for crafting and optimising lifecycle strategies, leveraging segmentation, automation, and personalisation to drive customer engagement. As a trusted adviser to our clients, you will play a critical role in their business growth while contributing to Coucou's reputation as a best-in-class lifecycle marketing agency. This role offers a flexible mix of remote work and in-person collaboration at our client sites. Your Impact Own the strategy and execution of multi-channel lifecycle programmes, ensuring seamless integration across email, SMS, direct mail, and push notifications. Analyse customer behaviour, purchasing patterns, and lifecycle trends to identify revenue-driving opportunities. Develop and optimise segmentation frameworks that enable personalised, data-driven customer journeys. Partner with CRM Campaign Specialists, designers and copywriters to ensure flawless execution and timely implementation of strategic initiatives. Stay hands-on when needed—managing campaigns, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring programme performance is continuously improved. Advise clients with clarity and confidence, articulating how strategies will impact their bottom line. Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, creative, and web teams to create cohesive customer experiences. Continuously experiment and innovate, staying ahead of industry best practices and emerging lifecycle marketing technologies. What You Bring 8+ years of experience in lifecycle/retention marketing, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role. Deep expertise in ESPs and CRM platforms like Klaviyo, Emarsys, and Braze, with both strategic and hands-on execution experience. A proven track record of scaling customer retention programmes and implementing full-funnel lifecycle strategies that drive measurable revenue impact. Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies and ROI-driven decisions. Solid understanding of ecommerce metrics, especially those related to retention, repeat purchase rate, and LTV. Exceptional communication and client management skills, building long-term trust and influencing key stakeholders. The ability to think strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to solve problems and execute initiatives. Enthusiasm for staying on the cutting edge of martech solutions and CRM best practices. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred. Experience working in eCommerce and/or agency environments highly preferred. What Success Looks Like Clients see consistent improvement in key retention metrics like repeat purchase rate, and LTV.
