In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the delivery of SAMI’s Enterprise System Medical Imaging (ESMI) services, including human, financial, and capital management. Your work will ensure seamless operations within a medical imaging environment while maintaining quality, safety, and continuous improvement at the forefront of SAMI’s service delivery. Working alongside a dynamic team, you’ll foster a learning and growth-oriented culture, sharing knowledge and supporting innovation to deliver better outcomes. You’ll also provide expert advice on policy, procedures, and workflow management within ESMI, making a meaningful impact across both metropolitan and regional health sites. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team committed to improving healthcare technology and services for communities across South Australia. About You We’re looking for an experienced, strategic leader with a strong understanding of medical imaging processes, service delivery, and team management. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Leadership, Strategic Thinking & Change Management : Strong leadership, the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrated experience in driving service improvements and managing organisational change. Medical Imaging & Project Management Experience : Practical experience with clinical information systems (e.g., RIS and PACS) and managing ICT projects, with a focus on improving service efficiency and outcomes. Problem Solving & Analytical Skills : Highly developed ability to identify risks, formulate innovative solutions, and implement service enhancements within budget and client needs. Knowledge of Healthcare Policies & Risk Management : Comprehensive understanding of medical imaging safety, risk management procedures, and relevant policies governing the delivery of public health services.
