About Company Our client is a leading Australian mining company specializing in base metal exploration and production. They are looking for an experienced Office Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to support their Adelaide office operations and facilitate communication between local and international stakeholders. Role Overview As the Office Manager, you will oversee daily administrative operations, support senior management, and ensure smooth office functionality. This role requires fluency in Mandarin to assist with communications between Australian and Chinese teams. Additionally, you will provide executive assistant support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and managing executive correspondence. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate office operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies. Provide administrative support to executives, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence. Act as a liaison between Australian and Chinese stakeholders, translating and interpreting when required. Oversee procurement, office supplies, and vendor management. Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and event coordination. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations. Support financial functions, including invoice processing and budget tracking. Maintain office records, databases, and document control systems. Schedule and manage meetings, including calendar coordination. Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and transport. Prepare reports, presentations, and executive briefings. Handle confidential correspondence and manage communications on behalf of executives. Key Requirements Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken). Proven experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Manager. Strong understanding of Australian business practices and workplace compliance. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems. Experience in the mining or resources sector is an advantage. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
