We work with clients on a range of challenges including: Business strategy development Operating model design and execution Strategy execution – through collaborative design, transformation hubs and command centres Creative and service design Program and project management and PMO delivery Change management Role Overview Duration: Contract or permanent option Start date: as soon as possible Contract option: $560 – $640 per day dependent on skills and experience Permanent Option: Salary range $110,000 - $120,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience Location: Canberra City, ACT Working Hours: Monday - Friday, full time hours Capacity: 2 – 5 years experience in digital projects in a government setting Responsibilities Develop and implement project management processes and procedures to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans and schedules. Monitor and track project progress, risks, issues and dependencies, and develop solutions to address them. Manage project coordination, including assigning tasks, setting priorities and providing guidance and support across teams. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders. Prepare and submit regular project reports. Identify and implement improvements in project processes, contributing to enhanced productivity and project outcomes. Utilise project data to assess progress, identify trends and recommend actions for continuous improvement. About you! We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PMO Officer / Project Officer who is passionate about driving impactful change. You’ll bring a mix of experience in project management and a deep understanding of government digital projects, coupled with a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure project goals are met efficiently. You’ll excel at supporting complex projects, ensuring they stay on track, and proactively solving problems that may arise along the way.
