Main Responsibilities Perform Radiation Consulting work for clients including taking on the statutory appointed RSO role, by prior agreement, and as required Provide technical oversight for client projects ensuring the scope is well defined and quality of technical deliverables meets or exceeds client expectations Develop, review and deliver a range of radiation safety training courses at Radsol premises and client premises Carry out field trips to clients’ sites to conduct a range of radiological safety and compliance requirements including auditing, assessment and monitoring Write and review technical documents including plans, procedures, reports, guidance materials, and technical marketing materials. Work with the Technical Operations Manager to implement Radsol‘s radiological procedures Regularly review federal codes and regulations for updates/amendments Involvement in operational risk assessments, as required Continuous improvement of existing radiation safety systems Where relevant, participate in delivery of OHS training, including inductions Ability to communicate radiological advice to a variety of stakeholders of different levels Passionate and motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills Strong literacy and numerical skills Organised and able to meet deadlines - a person who does what they say and follows through with conviction on commitments Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant science discipline Radiation Consultant experience, ideally five years in a similar role Knowledge and understanding of both federal and state regulations Radiation safety licences in WA (essential) and other Australian jurisdictions (desirable) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
