We are on the look-out for a highly motivated, driven People Leader to be part of this journey to future-proof our success as an Sales Manager-Trade in VIC . As the Sales Manager you will: Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and training to the sales teams in assigned region to ensure a high performance team culture with associated performance results. Prepare sales team members for more senior roles within the business where appropriate. Oversee the Annual Growth Planning process to deliver optimised and appropriately targeted call plans that ensure customer growth and the delivery of sales, product, volume, pricing, share of wallet and other organic growth targets. Analyse reports from CRM to look at trends and data and ensuring CRM system is fully utilised by sales team in line with expectations. Build sustainable relationships with key accounts that contribute to the long-term strength of the business and brand so that Wattyl becomes a preferred supplier in targeted groups. Ensure safe working practices and procedures are in place to protect employees from injury. Provide leadership to maintain a safe working environment and a high standard of business professionalism by implementing Wattyl EHS, Code of Conduct, Ethics & Company Values, Trade Practices and other company procedures and policies. In order to be considered you will have: Sales and people leadership experience, preferably with greater than 4 direct reports, applying a consistent coaching model to create and maintain a high performing sales team. Analytical skills to understand sales and performance reports and ability to use Microsoft Suite for presentations of this information as required. A track record in generating revenue and business development and the ability to increase sales through up selling and promotional initiatives. Proven record of hitting targets and budgets set for the team. Trade or building industry background would be great but not essential.
