We are currently on the lookout for a Trade Store Manager to run our main distribution site in Glenorchy ! As a Trade Store Manager with Clennett’s Mitre 10, you will lead the operations, dispatch, and employees on site to achieve high store standards and operational excellence. You will be responsible for multiple divisions including our distribution centre, drive thru, and trade counter. You will provide all management and leadership support to the Trade team in relation to performance management, growth, and development. You will support your team in managing inventory accuracy, stock purchasing budgets, DIFOT results, and support team cohesion. The successful candidate will have leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, be a strong communicator with a focus on operational excellence, and customer experience. A background in warehousing or logistics would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Workplace Health & Safety across your site. Leadership & Management of employees including:Recruitment, performance management, reward & recognition, and engagement. Motivating your team to deliver high standards of customer service and ensuring deliveries are made in full & on time. Achieving Sales Targets along with wages and expense budgets. Creating rosters and ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained. Management of Inventory and Accountability of stocktake results. Identifying product and marketing opportunities within the building industry. Conducting weekly team huddles to address WHS, policies and ensuring good communication with your staff. Monthly reporting on your KPI’s and achievements to Group Operations Manager. Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate as required. Communication to other stores regarding stock, purchasing products and bulk buys.
