Senior Business Analyst - Digital and Strategy Mandatory: Australian Citizenship required to work within Federal Government. A great opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join this busy team.About the role: Identifying and documenting current business processes to create baseline understanding of the current situation and processes. Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis. Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation. Providing expertise and supporting the Product Owner to elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps with the input from SMEs. Providing assistance to the Product Owner with the use of internal systems. Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and design. Leading the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development. Supporting verification testing of the built solution to ensure alignment to business requirements. About you: Proficiency in analysing and documenting current state versus future state process maps. Ability to elicit, document and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories. Strong problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Ability to undertake systems testing against defined acceptance criteria during the build and testing cycles of development. Facilitating workshops with other stakeholders, including Business Analysts, User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) Designers, and technology teams. Identifying potential issues or risks, tracking problems, recommending alternatives, and escalating issues as appropriate. Developing and maintaining subject matter expertise across new systems and processes within the Agency.
