Senior In-house Lawyer – Employment & Workplace Relations This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role, leading a small, service-driven team while enjoying a supportive work environment. This well-established legal team is bidding farewell to their Legal Practice Director, who is retiring after 10+ years of dedicated leadership. Now, they are looking for a passionate legal professional to join as the Legal Practice Director to continue fostering a positive and people-first approach to legal services. About the Role: The successful lawyer will oversee the provision of legal services to the organisation’s members and wider business. You will lead a collaborative, service-driven team, offering advice on employment, workplace relations, and commercial matters in a positive and people-centric environment. Key Responsibilities: Advising clients on employment, industrial relations, and workplace relations matters. Representing clients in the Fair Work Commission, WAIRC, and relevant courts and tribunals. Providing advice to the wider business on commercial contracts, including reviewing and drafting terms and conditions. Advising on compliance, corporate governance, strategy, policies, procedures, and operational structures. Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships while fostering a culture of collaboration and support. What’s on Offer? Car allowance, free parking, and other additional benefits. Who We’re Looking For: We are keen to speak to employment and workplace relations lawyers with 6-15+ years' of experience who have a collaborative mindset and a passion for leadership. Experience in managing a team will also be highly regarded. We will consider applications from lawyers at the SA/SC level who are not already practicing as a partner or principal, or who have not yet undertaken the LPMC course.
