The Central Bendigo Mine Rehabilitation Project Groundwater is looking for a Senior Project Officer to work on delivering a brand-new groundwater treatment plant in Bendigo.The successful applicant will ideally have experience with project management and procurement. The role suits a good communicator with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders. An appropriate qualification in engineering or an equivalent is desirable.The Senior Project Officer will also be involved in delivering the long-term solution for mining impacted groundwater in Bendigo along with overseeing interim management arrangements, stakeholder engagement, water monitoring, and sampling.Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications An appropriate qualification in engineering, project management or an equivalent would be desirable. A working understanding of DEECA procurement processes, particularly major procurements is preferred. A working understanding of construction and/or water management is preferred. Strong experience in project planning and delivery. This is a fixed-term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria – Galkangu GovHub Bendigo (preferred) with hybrid work arrangements available.
