Join a passionate team leading government reform programs that shape NSW Use your expertise to support communities and make a real difference This is a temporary Grade Clerk 9/10 role, up to 2 years, based in Mascot About the Role The Senior Project Officer plays a pivotal role in driving and managing the Closing the Gap Delivery Office. The officer will contribute to the development and implementation of key policy and program initiatives by supporting the executive team to make key decisions related to the Closing the Gap reform objectives. The role requires initiative and drive, ensuring critical projects move forward seamlessly. Your work will include developing a program office toolbox, maintaining a comprehensive reporting framework and analysing collected data to inform and shape impactful policy decisions. About the Team The Portfolio Oversight Team sits within the Delivery Office and aims to collect, coordinate and analyse key information, reporting outputs and data across the whole of government Closing the Gap portfolio. You have a relevant tertiary qualification, in project management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and training. You have experience in negotiating complex and fluid systems and structures that overlap and have competing priorities. You’re a strong, collaborative communicator, confident in engaging with executives, senior staff, and stakeholders. You excel at building relationships and managing competing priorities in dynamic environments. You communicate sensitively and effectively with, and understand issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We know the value of diverse experiences.
